Mobile awning repair, no towing required
Both of the awning shops in Florissant are mobile techs, which means they travel to your RV. That's a big deal if your awning is stuck out or your rig is parked at home. You don't have to tow it anywhere or wait in a shop lobby. The techs come to you, assess the damage, and often fix it on the spot. Just make sure you tell them the make and model of your awning when you book, so they bring the right parts. If they don't have a part in stock, they'll let you know and you can schedule a return visit.
What to expect from the top shops
The two mobile techs in Florissant have a strong track record. PMC Super Tuners Inc. has a 4.9 rating from 159 reviews and handles awnings, A/C, fridges, and chassis work. RV Support Services has a 5.0 rating from just 4 reviews and also covers roofs and awnings. Both are equipped to deal with awning fabric, arms, and motors. Since they're mobile, they can also check your roof seals while they're up there, which is smart if your awning leak has caused any water damage. Ask them to inspect the sealant around the awning rail.
Beyond the city limits
If you're outside Florissant or need more options, there are 12 more awning repair shops within reach. That gives you flexibility if the local techs are booked solid, which can happen in spring and early summer. It's worth calling ahead to check availability. If you're handy, you might handle minor fabric tears with awning repair tape, but for bent arms or motor issues, leave it to the pros. Also, if your RV is under warranty, check with the manufacturer before any work; neither of the Florissant shops is listed as doing warranty work, so you may need pre-approval to avoid paying out of pocket.
