Where the fridge work happens
Three shops in the Suamico area list refrigerator repair, and another ten are within reach if you widen the search. They average 3.7 stars across the group, though that number hides a lot. The Dr's Trailer & RV Shop sits at 4.9 stars over 87 reviews and handles roof, A/C, fridge and awning work, plus chassis and emergency calls. Kunes RV of Green Bay has the volume, 522 reviews at 4.1 stars, and does mobile service. Kunes RV of Green Bay Service carries only 4 reviews at 2.0 stars, so read those before you book. Most RV fridges fail in one of two ways: the cooling unit quits or the control board acts up. Ask which one they suspect before you drop it off.
Mobile call or shop visit
One of the three Suamico shops offers mobile service, which matters when the fridge is dead and the rig is parked at home or at a campground. Mobile work costs more in most cases because you pay for the trip, but it saves you towing a trailer across town. For a fridge that needs a new cooling unit, the shop usually wins since the box has to come out and that takes space and tools. Call first and describe the symptom: no cooling on gas, no cooling on electric, or both. The answer tells them a lot before you arrive.
Warranty and parts questions
One Suamico shop states it does warranty work, so if your fridge is still covered, start there and get pre-approval before anyone touches it. Otherwise you may pay out of pocket and chase reimbursement later. Ask whether the cooling unit or control board is in stock. Fridge parts are not something every shop keeps on the shelf, and a special order can add days to the job. Spring and early summer are the busy stretch, so book ahead if you have a trip on the calendar. While the rig is in, have them look at the roof sealant around the vent.

Questions people ask
How many RV refrigerator repair shops are near Suamico?
Three shops in the Suamico area list refrigerator repair, and ten more are within a reasonable drive. That gives you room to compare ratings and wait times before committing to one.
Which shop has the best reviews for fridge work?
The Dr's Trailer & RV Shop carries 4.9 stars over 87 reviews, the strongest showing among the three. Kunes RV of Green Bay sits at 4.1 stars over 522 reviews, and Kunes RV of Green Bay Service has 4 reviews at 2.0 stars.
Can a mobile tech fix my RV fridge?
One of the three Suamico shops offers mobile service. Simple fixes like a control board or a gas flow problem can often be handled on site. A failed cooling unit usually means the fridge comes out, which is better done in a shop with room to work.
Will warranty cover the repair?
