Who to call
12 Volt Electrical Services LLC carries the strongest record here at 4.9 stars across 111 reviews, and it runs mobile, so the tech can come to your rig. Frank's Mobile RV Services is the other mobile option, smaller but working the same calls. Quality RV is the shop in the mix, rated 3.9, and it handles roof, A/C, fridge and awning work plus warranty and insurance jobs. Two of the three are mobile, which matters if your rig is parked and not moving. Ask about the service call before you book.
What usually goes wrong
RV fridges fail in a few predictable ways. The cooling unit leaks ammonia, the burner and flue clog with soot, the thermistor drifts, or the control board gives out. A tech will check the basics before quoting a cooling unit, because replacing one is the expensive path. When you call, say whether the fridge works on shore power but not propane, or the reverse. That one detail saves diagnostic time. Ask if the part is in stock locally. Cooling units and boards are not always on the shelf, and a special order can add days.
Mobile or shop
Mobile techs handle a lot of fridge work in place, and for a rig that stays parked, that is the easier call. Shop work makes more sense when the repair needs a bench, a vacuum pump or a pull from the fridge cavity. Quality RV is the shop option among the three. If your fridge is still under a manufacturer or extended warranty, call first and get pre-approval. One of the three businesses here does warranty work, so confirm before anyone starts turning wrenches. Farmington sits close to Bloomfield, Aztec and Kirtland, so techs cover a wide radius.

There are 3 RV refrigerator repair shops and mobile techs listed in Farmington, averaging 4.4 stars. Two of them are mobile services, so they can come to where your RV is parked. The third is a shop with a wider range of repair types.
Can a mobile tech fix my RV fridge at my site?
Often, yes. Two of the three businesses in Farmington are mobile, and both list refrigerator work. Simple fixes like a thermistor, burner cleaning or a control board swap can usually happen on site. A failed cooling unit may still need the shop or a special order.
Does anyone here do warranty work on RV refrigerators?
Yes. One of the three Farmington businesses does warranty work, so call ahead and get pre-approval from your warranty provider before the visit. Ask what documentation they need and whether the repair is covered, since authorization rules differ by provider.
What should I tell the shop when I call?
Say whether the fridge cools on shore power but not propane, or the other way around, and whether the freezer still works. Mention the model and year. Ask if the likely part is in stock, since cooling units and boards are sometimes special orders.
