What gets fixed here
The two shops in Strafford cover the body and collision work you'd expect: roof damage, slide-out issues, windshield replacement, and awning repair. They also handle related systems like fridges, generators, and leveling. That's handy because a collision often knocks something else out of whack. Camping World - Strafford is the larger of the two with over 2,300 reviews, so you can bet they've seen every kind of bent bumper and torn roof. The smaller Camping World RV Service location has a 5.0 rating from three reviews, which is a good sign but thin evidence. Either way, book ahead if you're in a hurry, especially in spring when everyone else is getting ready for the season.
Mobile techs and nearby help
There are no mobile techs listed in Strafford for body work, so you'll be bringing your rig to a shop. That's typical for collision repair since it needs a bay and heavy tools. If you're willing to travel, there's one nearby option outside town, but the two Camping World shops are your main local choices. Ask about parts availability before you drop off, especially for windshields and body panels, since those can take time to order. And if you have insurance, get pre-approval before work starts to avoid surprises. Neither shop advertises warranty work, so confirm that too if your rig is still covered.
How to pick and prepare
With only two shops, your choice is simple: the big Camping World with a track record or the smaller service shop with a perfect but limited rating. For major collision damage, the larger shop's experience with insurance and parts might be the safer bet. For smaller fixes like a cracked windshield or a sticky awning, either can handle it. Before you go, take photos of the damage and write down your RV's make, model, and year. That speeds up the estimate. Also check your roof seals after any collision, even if the damage looks minor, because water intrusion is a quiet killer. And if you're handy, ask if you can supply your own parts to save a few bucks.
