Mobile techs who come to you
The three mobile services here all travel to your rig, whether it's parked at home, at a campground, or on the side of the road. That's a big deal when your slide-out is stuck open or the roof is leaking and you can't move. Couyon LeGrand's Mobile RV Services has a 5.0 rating from 49 reviews and handles roofs, A/C, and awnings. Fun in the Sun RV Repair is the only one listed for warranty work, so if your rig is still under coverage, start there. MRVR Mobile RV Repair is the smallest outfit with just four reviews, but sometimes the small guys are the ones who can squeeze you in.
What breaks most around here
Louisiana heat and humidity are hard on RV air conditioners, and that's reflected in the local listings: two of the three mobile services handle A/C repairs. Roofs take a beating too, and one outfit specializes in roof work. If your awning got caught by a gust or your slide-out is grinding, you'll want to call Couyon LeGrand's, which lists awning service among its skills. Before you call, note your RV's make, model, and year, and have your VIN handy. Describe the symptom plainly: does the fan run but no cold air, or is it dead quiet? That saves the tech a trip.
Booking and parts
Spring and early summer fill up fast as folks get ready for trips, so call ahead if you can. Ask whether the tech carries common parts like capacitors, thermostats, or sealant, or if you'll need to wait for an order. Couyon LeGrand's lists parts among its features, which can mean same-day fixes for simple failures. If your rig is under warranty, confirm with the warranty company before work begins; Fun in the Sun is the one here that advertises warranty work, and pre-approval avoids surprises. For emergency calls, both Couyon LeGrand's and Fun in the Sun list emergency service, so say clearly that you're stranded or unsafe.
