About Western States Cat
Western States Cat is mainly a construction, farm and heavy equipment dealer, but the Missoula location also takes in RVs for engine and generator work. It's the kind of place you can roll into mid-trip and get an oil change and chassis lube without an appointment weeks out. One reviewer passing through in a motorhome got squeezed in same day. Reviews run mostly positive at 4.8 stars, and the service side gets named. People mention Scott in service going above and beyond, and Lily promising a truck back by Friday and delivering. The rental desk gets credit too, with customers saying the follow-through on paperwork and equipment was solid. The complaint you'll see is the phone system. Callers get routed to a main operator rather than the store, and one reviewer found that frustrating. Parts and sales are here, plus new and used equipment. If you're in the area and something breaks, it's worth a call or a drive over.
