About Southern Shores RV Specialists
Southern Shores RV Specialists is a mobile RV repair service out of Richlands covering Jacksonville and the Eastern NC coast. It's Marine-owned, and the owner Tucker does AC and furnace work, electrical troubleshooting, slide outs, plumbing, solar installs and inspections. NRVTA certified. He comes to your home or campground, so no sitting in a dealership lot waiting your turn. Reviews back up the quick response. One owner had a furnace quit on a brand new Grand Design fifth wheel during a freezing weekend, and Tucker was at the campground fast and troubleshooting right away. Others mention leak repair, hot water heater problems and fridge diagnosis over the phone until they tracked down the issue. People describe him as honest, patient with first-time buyers and not pushy about selling parts you don't need. He does buyer and seller inspections, annual inspections and new owner walkthroughs, and works on Class A, B and C rigs plus towables. Weekend and emergency calls come up in the reviews. If you're mid-trip with something broken, this is a name worth having on your phone.

“We are buying our very first RV, a 2022 fifth wheel and had been advised the get an independent inspection. There were others who told us it was a waste of money. We decided to do what made the most sense to us and get the inspection.” – Lisa K., a year ago, on Google
“Tucker was extremely professional and very informative. We were impressed with his quick response to our call for help early on a Saturday morning.” – Brenda M., a year ago, on Google
“Oh my where do I start… I had a recall done to my RV from the dealership. They messed up my inverter. I took it to another dealer since I’m skeptical to take it back to the dealer that ruined my inverter.” – Margie E., a year ago, on Google
