What awning repair usually involves
Awning problems split into two groups. The fabric tears, fades, or pulls free at the seams, and the hardware binds, bends, or stops rolling evenly. A shop will look at both before quoting, because a new roller tube on a worn arm doesn't fix much. Ask whether they replace the fabric only or the full assembly, and whether the part is in stock or on order. That answer sets the timeline more than anything else. If the arms are bent from wind, have them check the mounting rail too, since a loose rail lets water in behind the trim.
Mobile techs versus a shop visit
Leo's RV Service runs as a mobile tech and does roof, A/C, fridge, and awning work, which helps when the awning won't retract and driving is not an option. A mobile call suits a stuck or half-open awning, a quick seam fix, or a motor that quit. Bigger jobs, like a full fabric replacement or new arms, often go smoother in a bay with the right tools and a level surface. Ask on the phone which one fits your repair. Also ask about emergency availability, since the shop lists it, and confirm the service window before you clear your driveway.
Before you book
Spring and early summer fill up fast around here, so call ahead rather than waiting for the first bad storm. If you have a warranty, get pre-approval and ask whether the shop does warranty work, since Leo's does. Have your RV's year, make, and model ready, plus a photo of the awning label if you can find it. Retract the awning before any rain if it still moves, and tie it off if it doesn't. A cheap strap beats a bent arm. While you're at it, have them glance at the roof sealant, because awning rails and roof edges fail in the same places.

Questions people ask
How many awning repair options are near Prairieville?
There is one shop in Prairieville for awning work, Leo's RV Service, and about eleven more within driving distance. That gives you a fallback if the local shop is booked or you need a second opinion on a full replacement quote.
Does Leo's RV Service do warranty work?
Yes. It is listed as doing warranty work, and it is the only shop in the Prairieville results with that feature. Get pre-approval from your warranty provider before the repair so there is no surprise about what is covered.
Can a mobile tech fix a stuck awning at my site?
Often yes. Leo's RV Service is a mobile tech and handles awning work along with roof, A/C, and fridge repairs. A stuck or half-open awning is a good candidate for a mobile call. Full fabric or arm replacement may be better in a shop bay.
What should I have ready when I call?
Have your RV's year, make, and model, a description of the awning problem, and whether it still retracts. Mention any warranty coverage. Ask if the needed part is in stock, since that usually decides how long you wait for the repair.
