What a Norco awning call looks like
Norco sits along the Mississippi in St. Charles Parish, where afternoon storms roll through and the wind picks up fast off the water. That is hard on awning fabric, arms and the motor that rolls it all up. A lot of calls here are about a rip at the seam, a roller that will not retract or an arm that bent after a gust caught it. Getting someone local matters, since a partly open awning is not something you want to tow. Ask upfront whether the shop handles warranty work and whether the replacement parts are in stock before you head over.
Should you use a shop or a mobile tech?
A small tear or a replacement fabric can often wait for a shop appointment. An awning stuck out in bad weather usually cannot, and that is where a mobile tech earns their fee. ALM RV LLC in Norco is set up as a mobile shop and also covers roof, A/C, fridge and awning work, so they can look at more than one thing while they are there. Ask what they need on site, like clearance around the RV or water and power, and confirm the visit covers the awning specifically. Get a window for arrival, not just a day. Mobile techs run between jobs and a rough time saves you sitting around.
The shops doing the work
ALM RV LLC is the clear pick in Norco, with a 4.9 rating across 194 reviews and warranty and parts listed among its features. That review count is enough to trust the track record rather than one lucky job. The shop handles mobile calls plus roof, A/C, fridge and awning repairs, which is handy when your awning problem turns out to be tied to something else. With 12 more options nearby if you widen the search, you have room to compare appointment times. Ask about warranty pre-approval before any work starts so there are no surprises at pickup.
