Who does the work
Three shops in Berthoud list A/C repair, and they also handle roofs and awnings, which matters because a leak can kill a cooling unit. Colorado's Premier RV Services has the longest review history by far with 316 reviews at 4.8 stars, plus warranty and generator work. LQs 2 Rvs and Service First RV both rate 5.0 on small review counts and both are mobile, so they can come to your storage spot or campsite. Service First also stocks parts and does body and chassis work. For a simple diagnosis, a mobile call saves you a tow.
Mobile or shop
Mobile techs in Berthoud are a real option when the rig will not move or you are already set up. Two of the three local listings are mobile. The tradeoff: a mobile tech works out of a truck, so a major part swap may still mean a shop visit. Ask on the phone whether they carry the capacitor, thermostat or fan motor for your model. If not, ask if they can get it before the appointment. A shop with parts on the shelf, like Service First, can sometimes finish the same day. Book early in spring when everyone discovers their A/C is weak.
Warranty and roof checks
Only one local listing says it does warranty work, so if your rig is covered, confirm that before anyone touches the unit. Get pre-approval from the warranty company and ask the shop to note the claim on the work order. While the A/C is open, have them look at the roof sealant around the vents. A cracked seal lets water in and corrodes the unit from above. That is cheap to catch early. Seven more A/C shops sit near Berthoud if the three local ones are booked, and the average rating stays near 4.9 across the area.

Questions people ask
How many RV A/C repair shops are in Berthoud?
Three shops list A/C repair in Berthoud, and seven more are nearby. Two of the three local options are mobile techs. The local average rating is 4.9 stars.
Can a mobile tech fix my A/C at the campsite?
Often yes. Two Berthoud listings are mobile. Call ahead with your unit model and describe the symptom. Ask if they carry the common parts for it, because a truck may not have everything a shop does.
Does anyone in Berthoud do warranty A/C work?
One local listing says it handles warranty work. Call that shop first and get pre-approval from your warranty company before the visit. Ask them to put the claim number on the work order.
Should I have the roof checked when the A/C is repaired?
Yes. The A/C sits on a roof opening sealed with caulk or tape. That seal cracks over time and lets water reach the unit. Ask the tech to look at it while the cover is off. It is a quick check.
