About Scenic Custom Campervans - Rentals and Sales
Scenic Custom Campervans runs rentals, sales, custom builds and remodels out of Rancho Cordova. The fleet includes Sprinter-based vans like The Whitney and The Aspen, and the shop handles van conversion repair and RV modification too. Their Try Before You Buy program lets you rent a built van before committing to one. Reviewers keep coming back to the vans themselves. People mention solar panels, a diesel heater, a.c. and good mileage, and more than one notes the king bed. The builds use real wood and marine-grade finishes rather than laminates. Families with kids and dogs write about roomy layouts, and the pickup and drop-off gets called easy. Staff come across as friendly and skilled, and one reviewer said they compared a lot of rental options and Scenic came out on top. Hours are listed, so call ahead. It's a rental agency, dealer and builder in one, which makes it a reasonable stop if your van needs work or you're weighing a purchase.
