About Camping World - Calera
Camping World in Calera is an RV dealer that also runs a repair shop and parts store. Reviewers often mention buying travel trailers and fifth wheels here, and some praise sales staff by name for being helpful and knowledgeable. But others describe long, frustrating visits and feeling rushed once paperwork is signed. On the service side, a few reviews mention roof and awning work, plus brake controller and hitch installations. The shop handles insurance and body work, and generator service. One reviewer said a seal came loose right after pickup, and another found the interior dirty. Appointments can be hit or miss: someone drove two hours for a scheduled look and found the unit gone. The place has a 3.9 rating from over 1,200 Google reviews. It's a big lot with new and used RVs, financing, trade-ins, and consignment. If you're mid-trip with a broken awning or need a hitch, call ahead to confirm they can fit you in.
