About Bear Claw Custom Vans
Scott and Vanessa run Bear Claw Custom Vans in Naples, Maine, where they build custom camper vans and take on repair work. They work on electrical systems, heaters, A/C and fan installations, windows, exterior storage and racks, and they offer DIY consulting. Reviewers keep coming back to the workmanship. One drove from Nova Scotia for electrical fixes and a spare tire carrier and said it was worth every mile. Others mention a full Victron lithium and solar upgrade on a Sprinter, rear flares with windows to add sleeping space, and a venting window plus Bluetti charger on a Ford Transit. People describe them as knowledgeable about van systems and quick to answer calls and emails. They also do full custom builds and were easy to work with for customers who started with only a rough idea. The shop is in western Maine, and while one reviewer met them at the Fryeburg Fair, most just show up for the work itself.
