About Whitney RV and Marine
Whitney RV and Marine has been fixing RVs in Ottumwa since 1980. The current owners bought the shop because they knew the previous owners and didn't want it to close, and it has grown into a full-service spot for RV maintenance and repairs, boat repair and winterizing, and custom work. Reviewers tend to mention the staff first. Several say the people there are helpful, and a few describe them as easy to work with and willing to go out of their way for customers. One reviewer brought a camper in on a Sunday and had the owners come out to help. Another stopped in for a part that wasn't in stock and had it ordered on the spot for the next morning. Others mention AC and fridge work on campers getting sorted out. Getting there takes a little attention. One reviewer was glad to have maps, and the shop says to follow the detour signs on Blackhawk Rd for the best route. They're open weekends too.
