About Bowling Motors & RV Sales
Bowling Motors & RV Sales has been selling RVs in Ottumwa since 1959, when George Bowling started with used cars and trucks. Motor homes came in 1975, then travel trailers and fifth wheels. The lot moved to Sycamore Road near Ottumwa Airport in 2000, where there's room for new and pre-owned units. Reviewers talk a lot about fifth wheels and camper selection, and several mention easy financing and a lifetime warranty. Staff get named: Adam on sales, Chad in finance, Tyler and the service crew. People describe a no-pressure sales floor and paperwork that gets explained clearly. One couple had a tree fall on their camper and said the service team called the insurance company to get things moving. Service after the sale is mixed. Some owners say repairs get handled and they're kept in the loop; others waited on callbacks about leaks, and one buyer says a salesman misrepresented his motor home. Ask questions before you sign.
