About Welch's Mobile RV Repair
Welch's Mobile RV Repair works out of Altoona and brings the shop to you, whether you're at a campground, a storage lot, or stuck on the roadside somewhere in Central Iowa. Roof, AC, awning, body and chassis work are all on the table. The shop is locally owned and lists weekend and emergency service along with parts. Reviewers keep coming back to Cody. They call him polite, honest and good at explaining what went wrong and what to do about it. Several mention fair pricing. One camper in Des Moines had a wiring issue over the Fourth of July weekend, and Cody walked over from a neighboring rig and pitched in for hours. Others describe parts ordered and installed a couple days later, plus furnace and leak fixes. The shop also handles winterization and spring de-winterization, brake and bearing service, roof inspections, and orientations for new RV owners. Online booking is available.
