About Summit Road Van Co
Summit Road Van Co builds custom camper vans in Bishop, in the middle of the Eastern Sierra. Full build outs are the main work, with cabinetry, electrical systems, battery, heat and AC. The stated focus is durability, beauty, innovation and functionality, shaped around what each client wants from their van. Reviewers keep coming back to the owner's attention to detail, and several have a lot of build experience to compare against. One 28-year veteran of RV and vehicle work called the quality leagues ahead of other shops. A Sprinter owner said the finished van matched what they had hoped for and that the estimate and communication were clear from the start. Another mentions electrical work fixed and explained, a heater fitted into an existing bench, and help finishing a partly done kitchen. People describe dealing directly with the owner on the build, workmanship that satisfies a perfectionist, and pricing with no surprises. Seven Google reviews, all five stars.
