About Stones RV and Trailer Repair
Stones RV and Trailer Repair handles RVs and light trailers in Evanston. They don't work on semi-trailers or trucks. Roadside assistance is available on request for certain jobs, and the shop has done roof work, generator service and chassis repairs. Reviewers keep coming back to the people. Ten of them mention the staff's knowledge, and several describe driving in with a failed leaf spring, seized brake or water leak and getting worked in on short notice. More than one mentions Robert and Samantha by name and their habit of explaining a diagnosis before starting the work. Price comes up often too, mostly in the fair range. Not every visit ended well. One reviewer brought in an Onan generator, was told it was beyond repair, and later got it running with a new alternator. The shop does keep parts on hand and has finished jobs on weekends when it was technically closed. Bearings, wheels, trailer repair and diagnosing show up across the reviews.
