About MechaMedix Mobile Mechanic & RV Repair
MechaMedix is a locally owned mobile mechanic based in Bakersfield, and the whole point is that the ASE certified techs come to you, whether that's your driveway, a job site, or the shoulder of I-5. They handle RV repair, truck and diesel work, diagnostics, brakes, batteries, oil changes, and steering and suspension. They also run 24/7 emergency roadside assistance. Reviewers keep bringing up the same things. Response time comes up a lot, with one driver saying someone reached them in about 20 minutes after an overheated car left them stranded at a golf course. That job was a failed water pump, and they were back on the road in under 90 minutes. Punctuality and diagnostics get mentioned often, and so does honesty. One review describes a tech named Daniel giving straight, unfiltered advice on a pre-purchase inspection. Another family called after a son's truck quit before prom, and the tech shuffled his schedule to get it running. They serve Bakersfield and the surrounding Kern County towns, including Oildale, Shafter, Arvin, Lamont, Wasco, Lebec, and Frazier Park.
