About A-1 Truck & Equipment
A-1 Truck & Equipment in Bakersfield handles body and frame repair, paint, and mechanical work on trucks, firetrucks, RVs, and commercial equipment. They aim to get you back on the road right the first time. Reviewers mention regular updates by phone, email, and text, and a shop that worked around one customer's tight schedule. One had a motorhome generator replaced. Another brought a crane in for paint and returned for last-minute detail work. A fleet manager said they won't use anyone else for body repairs and upkeep. The shop also does A/C installation and repair, brake repair, and engine diagnostics. Mobile service is mentioned, along with roof and A/C work. If you're broke down mid-trip, give them a call.
