About Great American RV SuperStores – Hammond
Great American RV SuperStores sits off I-12 in Hammond and runs big: an indoor showroom, 54 service bays, an RV collision center and a camping store on site. The service side handles body and trim, air conditioning and electrical work, and the techs are RVTI-certified. Financing, warranty work and insurance are all part of the picture. It's family-owned and has been since 1984. With thousands of Google reviews, the place clearly moves a lot of rigs. Reviewers keep coming back to the staff being informative, the sales approach feeling low pressure, and the walkthrough at pickup. First-time buyers in particular mention patient salespeople who answer questions and follow up after the sale. One recent buyer drove in from out of state and praised the daily communication during a three-week deal. Not every review is glowing. A few describe long waits and a pushy pitch on the extended warranty, and a couple of buyers found problems after taking delivery that took some back-and-forth to resolve. Worth reading the recent reviews yourself before you go.
