About Beachside Custom Vans
Beachside Custom Vans builds custom camper vans in Atlantic Beach, just outside Jacksonville. The shop works on Mercedes Sprinter, Ford Transit, and ProMaster platforms, doing full off-grid conversions with solar and electrical systems along with single upgrades like windows, AC units, roof fans, and heaters. They also sell ready-to-go spec vans and have a showroom you can tour. The Google reviews sit at a perfect 5.0 across 54 of them, and the pattern is consistent. People describe the owner and crew as perfectionists and say communication stayed steady through builds that took months. Reviewers mention Sprinter work, custom van builds, window, fan, and heater installs, and an alternator job. One owner wanted their roof cleaned up, swapping the AC for a lower-amp 12v unit and adding solar and a fan. Any questions before you commit are worth asking directly. The shop has set hours, so call ahead rather than rolling up unannounced.
