About American Towing & Wrecker Service - Mobile Truck Repair - Diesel Repair Shop
American Towing and Wrecker Service runs round-the-clock roadside help out of Lake City, covering I-75, I-10 and the run toward Gainesville and Jasper. The shop handles heavy duty towing, semi truck repair and mobile diesel work, plus the usual roadside saves: flat tire changes, jump starts, lockouts and fuel delivery for cars, trucks, RVs and commercial rigs. Reviewers tend to mention how fast they show up. Several note a quick response and a helpful driver, and a few describe careful handling and an easy time working with the crew. One driver stuck on I-75 late at night said they followed through on a fair price and got the rig to a mechanic on a Sunday. Not everyone is happy. A couple of reviewers call the owner rude and describe bad communication, so read past the star average. The shop is open around the clock, seven days a week. They also field breakdown calls for tractor trailers, buses and equipment, and they do mobile repairs on top of the towing.

What renters mention
“No one wants to call roadside service, and I'm no exception. I had a trailer line come loose, drag on the pavement and lock down the trailer brakes while moving down I75.” – Jason M., 5 months ago, on Google
“It is super scary to have a mechanical emergency on the highway in an area far from home. I had to trust a complete stranger to be honest and safe and professional. These guys offered and followed through on a good price and fast service.” – Pamela B., 5 months ago, on Google
“When chris and I opened our own wreaker company this was the only company that wished well and wasnt hateful we send all our heavy calls here because when referring another company I will not reffer a hateful company.” – Chris M., 7 months ago, on Google
