About Western States Cat
Western States Cat is a Caterpillar dealer in Idaho Falls, and RV repair sits alongside construction, ag and truck work on its list. It's a big equipment shop rather than an RV-only garage, so expect that kind of operation when you call. Reviews are mixed and worth reading before you go. One customer praised a skid steer repair and called the desk and tech staff friendly and professional. Another said a truck was fixed fast after a midnight call. Parts pickup drew complaints, though: someone drove two hours twice for parts left in the after-hours drop box and found nothing either time, and a skid steer buyer faulted the location's follow-through. Parts availability and skid steer work come up most in the review topics. Current rating sits at 4.4 from 22 Google reviews. A sales rep who answers his phone on weekends got singled out for praise. If you're mid-trip and need something fixed, call ahead and confirm the parts are actually there.
