About True Value Trailers
True Value Trailers sits in Penrose and has been family-owned since 1978, serving Southern Colorado. It is mainly a trailer dealership, with utility, enclosed cargo, dump, flatdeck, gooseneck, horse and stock, and equipment haulers on the lot. They also sell tractors, mowers and power equipment, and carry parts. The shop side handles RV repair, trailer repair and truck bed installs, along with small engine, chainsaw, lawn mower, generator and tractor work. Reviewers bring up chainsaw and STIHL parts a lot, say the selection is bigger than most places, and like having a service department certified on that equipment. Others mention trailer supplies, bearings and flatbed work. With 160 Google reviews at 4.3 stars, the feedback runs both ways. One buyer had a gooseneck hitch installed and said the work looked clean. Another posted a complaint about a brake controller bill running well past the quote. Reviews also touch on warranty help and a new tilt trailer issue that got fixed fast. It is a stop for parts and service, not just sales.
