About Transwest Truck Trailer RV of Frederick
Transwest in Frederick is a family owned Freightliner, Cimarron horse trailer and hauler truck center, and the service side runs deep: a 20-bay shop that handles everything from full engine rebuilds to a simple service or an alignment. They stock truck and RV chassis parts and horse trailer parts too. Parts and service stay open until 11 PM Monday through Friday, which helps if you roll in late. Reviewers with RVs and coaches keep coming back for service and warranty work. Several mention Amanda in customer service by name and credit her with keeping them informed, and people describe the staff as friendly and accommodating. A few note the diagnosis side, and one driver appreciated being told repairs would run into the next day. It's a big place, and not every visit lands. One reviewer found the process frustrating and felt nobody was on the same page, with a lot of waiting for basic answers. Others found the parts department willing to work through odd requests, like a bike rack mount for a trailer tongue. Worth a call before you drive over.
