About Tactical Truck Repair & Towing
Tactical Truck Repair & Towing is a truck repair shop on the Durham side that also lists RV repair, engine rebuilding, and towing. They have run since 2015 and take calls around the clock, which matters when something breaks at 6 a.m. on the shoulder. Services cover the usual trouble spots: air conditioning, brakes, electrical, exhaust, batteries, and engine diagnostics. Reviews are mixed. The good ones mention quick answers and getting back on the road, including an RV owner stuck on Hwy 15 with a failed wheel bearing who got advice on rolling in on three wheels. Others praise the diagnostics and injector work. A few describe slow follow-through and hard-to-reach staff, so ask for a timeline in writing before you hand over the keys. Mobile and A/C work are mentioned, and there is a warranty. The shop handles body, chassis, and parts too.
