About SUMMIT AUTOMOTIVE
Summit Automotive sits in Johnson Village, about a block north of the Hwy 285/24 junction, on County Road 314 off Arizona Street. It's a family operation, and Larry brings 40 years of diagnostic experience to cars, trucks, vans and RVs. The shop is licensed and insured. Along with general repairs, they handle air conditioning, brakes, batteries, engine diagnostics and tuning, and routine maintenance. Reviews keep coming back to the same things: honest staff, kind staff and fair prices. Several people mention quick diagnosis, and a few note you can show up without an appointment. One driver passing through on vacation had a breakdown fixed in a few hours. Another with a 1998 Dodge Ram had a rear brake job and full inspection, with every part documented. Ruthie often calls before replacing anything, which reviewers clearly appreciate. Folks with an F150 and a VW GTI both left satisfied after accurate diagnosis and repair. The shop runs on old school knowledge and values, and the 4.9 rating across 61 reviews backs that up.
