About Star 5 Service LLC
Star 5 Service is a mobile RV repair outfit based in Kalispell, covering Whitefish, West Glacier and Columbia Falls. They bring the shop to your site, which matters when your rig is stuck at a campsite or on the shoulder. The shop lists 15 years of experience and handles furnace and water heater work, electrical and slide-out problems, winterization, black and gray tank cleaning, brakes and general repairs. Reviewers split on this one. Several praise the techs by name, including Ben, and describe same-day help with a motorhome at a campsite and bearings that had a trailer wheel smoking. Others talk about costs, and not always kindly. One customer says a black tank clog was cleared but a cut pipe was patched instead of fixed and later leaked. Another paid for three days of electrical diagnosis that missed a converter problem. If you call, ask what the visit and the repair will run before the tech heads out. That comes up more than once in the reviews. Chassis and parts work are mentioned, along with warranty and emergency help.
