About Smitty's Diesel Truck & RV
Smitty's is a truck repair shop in Indio that also handles RVs, and the reviews show a mix. Some drivers got help fast. One said Smitty reached their rig in fifteen minutes and had a belt on in under an hour. Another called him their go-to mobile guy after he showed up at a desert rest stop when other mobile techs wouldn't commit to a time. Price comes up a lot, and usually in a good way. A driver from Idaho expected the worst for a radiator hose fix at Chiriaco Summit and said it ran about half what he'd braced for. Another got a starter issue sorted on a Volvo and was back on the road. Not every story ends well. One reviewer said he arrived hours late after oversleeping. Another drove to the old shop only to learn the lease had run out. The shop is open around the clock, so call ahead and confirm where he's working from.
