About Smitty's Auto & Rv
Smitty's is a family-owned shop in Greenwood that handles cars, trucks, transmissions and RVs. It's been around over 30 years and pulls in customers from Indianapolis and the surrounding towns. Reviews mention roof work, along with body and chassis jobs, and the place does general maintenance, brakes, exhaust, electrical and engine repair too. What reviewers keep coming back to is the people. Friendly staff gets mentioned a lot, and several call them honest folks who only fix what actually needs fixing. One traveler broke down with a camper tow vehicle and got referred here by a tow driver, and wrote that the transmission was handled well. Another praised the family for taking good care of an RV when other shops quoted weeks or months. Not every review is glowing. A few describe warranty disputes over transmission work and a disagreement about an estimate charge. The rating sits at 4.3 across 63 Google reviews. If you want to know how a job gets priced or covered, ask before you leave the rig.

“I want to thank Jimmy and the rest of the family for taking such good care of my RV.” – Mark M., 3 years ago, on Google
