About Rocky Mountain RV & Service
Rocky Mountain RV & Service is an RV repair shop in Layton, Utah, and they also turn wrenches on UTVs. The service list covers the usual trouble spots: air conditioning, brakes, electrical, steering and suspension, batteries, body and trim, plus oil changes and filter swaps. Their own writeup mentions towable maintenance, 45 point inspections, slide out maintenance, suspension and shocks, and clutch repair for UTVs. If you are broken down mid-trip, ask about mobile service and emergency work. Reviewers bring up the staff a lot, and polite is the word that comes up most. People describe warranty fights getting sorted out, including a water heater fixed under Dometic warranty for a traveler passing through. Others mention an inverter installed on short notice and a water leak and valve repair. Speed and clear communication show up too, though not everyone had that experience: one van owner waited two weeks just for a look and got conflicting answers about parts. Fair prices and timely repairs come up often, and more than one full-time RVer says they will not take their rig anywhere else. The shop is not open 24/7, so check hours before you roll in.
