About Road Trip Camping
Road Trip Camping is a small dealer in Orange, Virginia that focuses on compact, lightweight campers from independent builders rather than the big corporate names. Reviewers mention the no-pressure sales approach again and again, and several describe a family owned feel with staff who take time to walk buyers through options. Most of the buzz in reviews centers on service work: lithium battery installs, solar, brake controllers, and custom touches like awnings. People also call out the team's knowledge and the fact that nobody pushed them toward more camper than they needed. One reviewer drove over six hours from Ohio for repairs and said the attention to detail made the trip worthwhile. Not every review is glowing. One describes a run-in with the owner and doubts the reviews are real, so read through them yourself before you go. The shop handles AC and awning work, sells parts, and mentions a warranty. Expect weekend hours and a relaxed, browse-at-your-own-pace visit.
