About Rising Sun Diesel, Auto and RV
Rising Sun Diesel, Auto and RV is an auto repair shop in Nampa that also takes on RV work, from awnings and A/C to engine jobs on diesel rigs. They handle brakes, oil changes, check engine lights, no-starts, suspension and steering, plus electrical and computer diagnostics. Reviewers bring in motorhomes, travel trailers and vintage coaches, and the crew seems to say yes to the odd jobs. The reviews keep coming back to the same things: solid inspection work, quality of work, and staff who explain what needs fixing now and what can wait. One customer with a Thor ACE mentioned an online form for accepting or rejecting suggested services, and a total bill under the quotes. Another broke down mid-trip and the shop stayed late to get them back on the road. People also note the shop and showroom are clean and organized, and techs are careful with the rigs. Call ahead for hours and availability.
