About Retro Odyssey
Retro Odyssey is a custom build and repair shop in Granada Hills, working on RVs, buses, and trailers. They handle electrical, tires, Airstream work, bus conversions, cabinetry restoration, chassis work, and complete custom builds. Mobile service is mentioned for AC and awning work, and they do chassis and parts. Reviewers consistently praise Colin and Julia for their craftsmanship and vision. One customer had a failed DIY Airstream project transformed into a "first class" off-grid camper that sleeps six. Another converted an ex-wine tour bus into a custom RV, and a third turned a 1975 GMC RV into a mobile nail shop. Colin is described as professional, honest, and humble, with a knack for creative, functional ideas. The shop operates by appointment only, no drive-ups. Some mention a home shop or backyard atmosphere, but reviewers say the quality mirrors any large-scale shop. Work isn't cheap, but you get the craftsmanship. They listen to your ideas or suggest their own if you don't have a plan.
