About Platinum RV Center
Platinum RV Center in George West handles motorhomes, trailers, and other RVs. They've been at it over 25 years, and they offer mobile service along with roof, AC, and awning work. Complimentary pickup and return delivery from their shop to your home is available, which is handy if you're stuck. Reviews are a mixed bag. Several folks praise the knowledgeable staff and communication, especially during a hail storm when they picked up a rig and kept the owner in the loop. Others mention high pricing and unfinished jobs. One full-timer had a slide issue finally fixed after months of dead ends, crediting Kevin and Eric. If you call, expect to talk about scheduling. Some reviewers say callbacks can be slow, so it might take persistence. The shop also sells parts and handles warranty and chassis work.

What renters mention
“My husband and I recently went through a horrific hail storm in Portland, TX. It broke our sunroofs, ALL of the slide-outs and demolished the roof on our new 5th wheel RV.” – Briana S., 9 months ago, on Google
“We're full timers for years and have had a slide issue for several monts. We've contacted numerous shops in several different locales resulting in either no call back, too busy or they make an appt and never show or return calls.” – BJ, 3 years ago, on Google
“Platinum RV is top notch. When our RV was manufactured they put in 2 ac units and only one had a thermostat. The bedroom only had the ac unit that just dumped air from the ac unit. No vents and no thermostat to control it.” – Julie D., 2 months ago, on Google
