About Outpost Outfitters
Outpost Outfitters sits on Route 45 in Gray, selling new and used RVs, motorhomes, fifth wheels, travel trailers and park models, plus parts, accessories and rentals. It's a family and Veteran owned operation, and the crew also runs a full-service repair shop. The reviews tell you what that means in practice. One traveler heading north through Maine had a fifth wheel break down and got back on the road the same visit. Another owner brought in a travel trailer with an electrical problem a week before a camping trip and had it diagnosed and fixed promptly. A third had a leak from the underside after a repair elsewhere; the crew got on it, then caught a suspension problem about to fail and ordered the part. People mention being welcomed even when they didn't buy there, and one reviewer noted the lot is small but growing, with more inventory on the way. Brands include Grand Design, nuCamp, Shasta, Salem and Kropf park models. Open weekends.
