About Optimum RV
Optimum RV took over the old Family Camping Out location in Pottstown in late 2021. It's a family owned and operated dealer with service and parts under one roof, plus warranty work. That setup saves you from running all over town when something breaks mid-trip. Reviewers often mention salespeople like Jordan and Sam for being patient and not pushy. The consignment process and fifth wheel setup get talked about too. On the repair side, people bring in travel trailers and fifth wheels for things like battery replacement, RV inspection, and trailer repair. Camper cleanliness comes up in a few reviews, and appointment scheduling gets mixed feedback. Some reviews complain about slow follow-up. One person said they called for weeks without a callback. Others praise the service and parts departments and say they've bought multiple RVs here. With 429 Google reviews averaging 4.0, it's a busy place with plenty of firsthand accounts to weigh.

What renters mention
“In March 2026, my fiancé and I purchased a new KZ Sportsmen SE camper from Optimum RV. Our experience has been nothing short of fantastic. Our salesman was Sam Palm who is quick witted, helpful & not pushy in anyway whatsoever.” – Jesse G., 5 months ago, on Google
“A+ from sales to parts and service departments. This is the second RV we’ve purchased here and have had great experiences in both cases. We just traded our Heartland on an Ahara and got a great deal through sales!” – Brenda G., 6 months ago, on Google
“My family had a great interaction with Jordan Sellers during our visit in March 2026. Jordan was patient, never pushy or tried to hard sell us. He showed us several motorhomes and explained how things worked in each one.” – Tay M., 3 months ago, on Google
