About Oakley's Garage & Towing
Oakley's Garage & Towing has been fixing vehicles in Benson for over 80 years, and the current owners took over January 1, 2025. It's a small shop, and reviewers say an appointment is usually needed because they stay busy. Along with general auto repair, they handle RV repair, tires, wheel alignments, A/C work and towing, so a broken rig on I-10 is within their range. Reviewers keep coming back to the pricing and the staff. People describe courteous workers who explain the diagnosis and charges as they go. One traveler stranded on the interstate had brakes go out and got a tow and a hotel ride for the family and dog. Another cross-country driver had a weird symptom with no codes and a tech listened and tracked down a failing engine mount. It's an old-school kind of place. One owner brought in a '66 that had sat 15 years and got it running again. Others mention drop-off and pickup help around work schedules. Small shop, busy schedule, so call ahead.
