About Mom and pops on the go car DR. And mobile mechanic
Pop runs a mobile mechanic service out of Loris, and he'll come to you. Cars, RVs, motorcycles, ATVs, whatever is sitting dead in the driveway. The listing covers brakes, batteries, electrical, oil changes, steering and suspension, engine diagnostics, and AC work. He's open around the clock, weekends included, which matters when something quits on a Sunday. Reviews split. Some folks say he showed up late at night within the hour and walked them through a stuck crank shaft bolt, calling him friendly and full of knowledge about motors. Others describe the opposite: paying for a carburetor rebuild kit that never got ordered and a part they say they never got back. A couple of reviewers mention reasonable rates and phone contact, but the five reviews average 2.6, so read them yourself before you hand over a part. The shop handles chassis work too and describes itself as serving any automobile, RV, motorcycle or ATV. If you need someone to come to the rig rather than tow it, he's set up for that.
