About Mekkelsen RV Sales & Rentals
Mekkelsen RV is a family owned and operated dealer in East Montpelier. They've been outfitting campers for 51 years and keep more than 200 new and used RVs on the lot, including Salem Hemisphere, Kodiak, Aspen Trail, Geo, Vista, Vintage by Gulfstream, Sunray and Sunlite by Sunset Park RV, and Four Winds. Reviewers talk about the sales staff by name, saying Dan and Rob listen to what you want and what you can afford. More than one person calls the sales approach not pushy. A few drove hours past other dealers to buy here again. One buyer had a leak found during inspection, and the shop repaired the damaged walls, floor and header before delivery instead of handing over the unit as is. The service side handles more than sales. One traveling couple pulled in with a dead water pump and got help troubleshooting on the road. Another had a mirror replaced after shipping the part in. Reviewers also mention warranty work and one repair that had to be redone, which the owner walked through personally at no extra cost.
