About M&J Truck & Auto Repair
M&J Truck & Auto Repair is a family-owned shop on the east side of Madison that's been fixing cars, trucks, and RVs since the early 1980s. They've got 12 bays, so your rig isn't sitting outside waiting for a space to open up. The crew handles A/C work, brakes, batteries, and general maintenance on everything from pickup trucks to semi trailers, and they say they're the state's fleet repair specialists. Reviewers often mention specific people by name, like Jon and Thomas, for going out of their way to help. One driver broke down two and a half hours from home with a loaded box truck, and the team worked to get him back on the road. Others call the crew polite and say they felt genuinely cared for. There are also complaints about loose lug nuts after brake work and being charged for chassis greasing that may not have happened, so it's worth asking questions upfront. The shop runs on regular business hours and doesn't claim 24/7 emergency service. If you're mid-trip and need a hand, call ahead to see what they can fit in.
