About Johnson Towing & Recovery
Johnson Towing & Recovery runs a 24-hour towing and roadside operation out of Manlius, Illinois, with additional locations in New Bedford and Princeton. They handle light, medium, and heavy duty towing, including RVs, plus winch outs, air bag recoveries, tire changes, and fuel delivery. If you're stuck on I-80 or nearby, they're set up to come to you. Reviews are mixed. Some people say they got fast help and fair prices, with one noting the tech was nice and didn't gouge them. But several others complain about rude phone manners and bills that seemed way too high, especially after accidents. A few say they felt pressured into using the service. The shop is open around the clock, so you can call any time. They cover most counties in Illinois and surrounding states. Worth a call if you need a tow, but read the reviews and ask about pricing upfront.
