About Independent Automotive Inc.
Independent Automotive Inc. in Hilmar is the kind of shop that works on more than just cars. The Google category says auto repair, but the service list runs from A/C and brakes to diesel engine repair and towing. They also handle RVs, so if something breaks on your rig, this is a local option. Reviewers mention quality work and honest communication. One driver said they fixed another mechanic's mistakes on a truck engine. Another praised Laura and Lloyd for getting a truck through smog. People also call the staff kind and attentive, and one review notes they were happy to help with a daughter's vehicle. Not every review is positive; one complained about pricing on labor. Their own description says they offer a shuttle service for customers. If you're passing through Hilmar and need RV or truck work, give them a call. The shop isn't open 24/7, so check hours first.
