About Hawkeye Diesel Repair
Hawkeye Diesel Repair is a diesel shop in Mansfield that also runs mobile calls, sending techs out to stranded drivers around the Dallas Fort Worth metroplex. If they can't fix it at the roadside, they'll suggest towing it back to the shop. Diesel trucks are the main focus, but they also work on RVs and trailers, plus fuel and exhaust systems, chassis and AC. The shop advertises 24/7 availability, and reviews split on what that means. Some reviewers say the phone gets answered around the clock but the shop itself keeps daytime weekday hours. Response times come up often, and not always kindly, with a few drivers reporting waits well past the estimate they were given. On the plus side, reviewers frequently call the mechanics knowledgeable and the pricing affordable, and truck and roadside repair are the topics that show up most in feedback. Others describe slow turnaround, weak communication, and diagnosis visits that didn't find the problem. If your rig is down, call and ask about the rate and the ETA before committing.
