About Happy Camper RV
Happy Camper RV is a repair shop in Palmer that handles batteries and body and trim work. Reviewers mention electrical fixes and water heater swaps, and several say they got in fast. One traveler from Anchorage wrote that other shops quoted a month out while he was serviced in two days. The owner, Max, comes up in a lot of the reviews. People describe him as honest and say he talked them out of repairs they didn't need, including one customer who thought a new water heater was required and didn't get charged for one. Others mention that he walked them through the whole project before any work started. He runs the place solo, so the phone doesn't always get answered when he's buried in a job. A few reviewers note that and suggest stopping by the shop instead. It sits across the street from Mattress Ranch, which is handy since the location is easy to miss.

“Have had Max work on my travel trailer multiple times. His service is great. His prices are very fair and reasonable. I read the other reviews and any of the negative reviews were related to having a hard time reaching him.” – Preston W., 2 years ago, on Google
“Extremely easy to work with. Highly accommodating. Never once had an issue reaching him by phone. Was a little concerned at first with the couple of negative reviews but decided to try it anyway.” – Julie S., 6 years ago, on Google
“Winnebago 1999 Chieftain with electrical issues. Max diagnosed and fixed the issue in just a few hours, and then spent extra time with us to explain the fix. Max provides superior customer service and we are so grateful to him.” – Jennifer B., 3 years ago, on Google
