About Gulf Coast Auto & Truck Repair
Gulf Coast Auto & Truck Repair is a family-owned shop on the south side of Houston serving the greater metro area since 1983. Master Certified technicians handle brakes, transmissions, electrical, AC and battery work, and they also take in motorhomes. All repairs come with a 12-month/12,000-mile warranty. The reviews point hard at diagnosis and courteous staff. Owners describe being listened to, asked questions, and told what was actually wrong. One came in expecting a motor replacement and left with a fix instead. Another had an AC compressor diagnosed and repaired in under 24 hours. A Ram 3500 owner noted the shop had a lift with the clearance for a tall rig. People also mention quick turnarounds, alignment, truck work and honest answers about issues that turned out to be nothing. Not every review is glowing. One customer reported poor repair quality, a part that was not what was promised, and an unauthorized long test drive. Appointments are available and the shop is not open around the clock.
