About Golden Eagle RV Resort
Golden Eagle sits in Eagle Nest and runs as an RV park with a grill and cafe on site, plus a small store carrying everything from food to camping odds and ends. Reviewers mention clean bathrooms, a relaxing feel, and staff they describe as kind. It reads like a spot where people settle in and stay awhile. The owners, Nathan and Lisa, come up often in reviews. Guests write about Nathan fixing brakes on a rig the day it arrived, walking new RVers through their water hookup, and giving cold-weather advice to a couple wintering in their fifth wheel. One family stopped in just to sort out their rig before a move and left impressed. Longtime guests call it a family tradition. Sites are pull-through and easy to get into, though a reviewer noted they sit close together. Others mention movie nights, fishing trips and a free boat tour. The lake and mountains are close by.
