About Four Star Automotive, Inc. & Four Star Truck Repair
Four Star Automotive in South San Francisco is a full-service shop that also handles RVs, along with cars, trucks, and diesel engines. They do smog inspections, wheel alignments, tire sales, AC work, brakes, and more. The place has a 4.2-star rating from 84 Google reviews. Reviewers often mention the staff being honest and easy to communicate with. One customer praised a mechanic named Jose for years of reliable work on both company and personal vehicles. Others liked the free shuttle that got them to work while their car was in the shop. A few reviews note that the shop offers a complimentary safety inspection with an oil change. Not every visit goes smoothly. One reviewer said a smog machine was broken and no tech was available for an oil change, and another reported a scary incident with lug nuts after a safety check. But many say the team is personable and the work is dependable. If you need RV service or a smog check in the area, it's worth a call.
