About El Kapitan
El Kapitan is a van builder and upfitter in Huntington Beach. They do camper van conversions, trade van builds, luxury van builds, and service work or modifications on vans you already own. Services listed include van conversions, upgrades, modifications, and upfits. Reviewers often talk about build quality after getting work done, like a 4x4 Sprinter build or a shelving system install. Owners Brendan and Ashley come up in reviews as honest and easy to work with. One reviewer said the team took on a van that another shop had torn apart and put it back together. Another mentioned a broken awning fixed quickly on a Monday after calling. They also stand by their builds, based on at least one review. Hours are listed, but it's not open 24/7. One reviewer complained about a sales call that was never returned, so it's worth calling twice if you don't hear back.
